Indoor Volleyball - Battle of Alberta

The CSSC Spikes Back

The Battle of Alberta (BOA) Indoor Volleyball Tournament is a true clash of the titans as teams from Edmonton and Calgary go head-to-head in Red Deer. This is an opportunity to show off each city’s skills and put the competition to shame once and for all. It is recommended that teams take the opportunity to make it a full weekend of fun, and book a hotel so that they can take Red Deer by storm and join the CSSC in a party that goes all night long.

Play at one of the following in Red Deer, AB. Teams will not be required to travel between facilities during the day.

Approx. Times

  • 9:00am to 6:30pm

Official times will be sent to teams no later than 5:00pm on Wednesday the week of the event

Format/Roster

  • Guaranteed 4 matches

  • Divisions: Recreational, Recreational Plus, Intermediate, Intermediate Plus, Competitive

  • All nets are set to 'men's' height: 2.43m

  • Playoffs are single elimination

  • Co-ed 6's (minimum of 2 females)

  • All participants must be 18+ years old

The Fun

  • After-Party: Join us for an exclusive SSC after-party once your games are wrapped up to keep the good times rolling all night long! Specific after party details will be released closer to the event date.

  • Accommodations: Make a weekend out of it by booking a hotel room(s)! Specific accommodation details will be released closer to the event date.

Cancellation Policy: Please contact the CSSC office no later than Friday the week before the event to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be given after this point.
