This adult-only, recreational Yard Games League is the first of it's kind in Calgary! Grab your partner-in-crime and play a new Yard Game each week including Cornhole (a.k.a. Bean Bag Toss), Ladder Golf, KanJam and Beersbee. Trust us when we say this league really puts the 'social' in the 'Calgary Sport and Social Club'!


After your game, meet up with your teammates and other players to enjoy exclusive food and drink specials at one of the CSSC's many Sponsor Bars around Calgary.

League Length

  • 5-weeks

All teams play once a week on the day they select when registering.

Typical Game Times

  • Afternoon Leagues: 1pm to 5pm

While our leagues are self-officiated, there is an Onsite Coordinator to help manage equipment, time and scores. Matches are best-of-three and bookings are typically 1 hour long.

These leagues are 'double opponent,' meaning you get double the fun: you get to play two matches each night against two different opponents.

2's - Open

Games are played 2 on 2 with no specific gender requirements.

Divisions are based on the experience and skills of a team - not on their competitive behaviour! No matter what skill level you register for, all players are expected to play with a 'fun-first, winning-second' attitude.

Recreational

This division is for teams who are newer to the sport, or teams that consist of a mix of experienced and inexperienced players. Some players may still be learning the rules of some or all Yard Games, meaning the flow of the game will not always be natural. If both of the main players are experienced and skilled, then the team should move up to a higher level if available.
