No grass stains, no glory. No sweat, no story.
The CSSC offers a wide variety of recreational, co-ed Outdoor Soccer Leagues for adults in Calgary. There are various roster sizes to choose from, with most games being played on fields shorter than a full-sized pitch. This means you get faster-paced games, can get more players involved in the action, and it's easier to recruit a team.
After your game, meet up with your teammates and other players to enjoy exclusive food and drink specials at one of the CSSC's many Sponsor Bars around Calgary.

Divisions are based on the experience and skills of a team - not on their competitive behaviour! No matter what skill level you register for, all players are expected to play with a 'fun-first, winning-second' attitude.
Please note that the below divisions may not be offered every season or day. If you have any questions about the different skill levels or where to place yourself, just call us!
This division is for teams who are newer to the sport, or teams that consist of a mix of experienced and inexperienced players. Some players may still be learning the rules of Soccer, meaning the flow of the game will not always be natural. If the majority of players are experienced and skilled, then the team should move up to a higher level if available.
This division is for teams with mainly experienced Soccer players. The flow of the game will be quicker than the Recreational division as there will be fewer stoppages and rule clarifications. Players can dribble, pass, and shoot with accuracy and the team is looking for more of a challenge than the Recreational level. Not all players in this division are highly skilled, but players are experienced and knowledgeable in the sport.
When registering a full team, there is no limit to the maximum number of players you can have on the roster. Minimum female player requirements are inclusive of anyone who identifies as female. |
Format | Ideal Roster Size | Total # of Players | Min # of Female Players | Max # of M/X Players | U-40 Maximum |
6 vs 6 - Open | 11-13 | 5 + Goalie | N/A | 6 | 3 Players |
Master Leagues require that most players be at least 40 years of age before the start of the season.
To assist with roster management, all teams are permitted up to three players who are 30-39 years of age at the start of the season.
Although a team may have more U-40 players listed in their online roster, teams are not allowed to exceed the above maximum per game – this includes the use of subs.
Players that are 18-29 years of age are not permitted to play in the Masters League.
