5-Pin Bowling

A league right up your alley.

Whether you're known for your silky strikes or are better at just striking a pose, our fun-first 5-Pin Bowling Leagues are made for you. Join the CSSC and give it your best bowl, show off your silky hands (or epic gutter balls), and enjoy a League that really puts the 'social' in the 'Calgary Sport and Social Club.'

After your game, meet up with your teammates and other players to enjoy exclusive food and drink specials at one of the CSSC's many Sponsor Bars around Calgary!

League Length

8-weeks

All teams play once a week on the day they select when registering.

Typical Game Times

Evening Leagues: 7pm to 9pm

While our leagues are self-officiated, there is an Event Coordinator onsite to help manage equipment, time and scores. Matches are best-of-three (10-frames each) and the third game is always played, no matter the score in games one and two.

2's - Open

Games are played 2 on 2 with no specific gender requirements.

Divisions are based on the experience and skills of a team - not on their competitive behaviour! No matter what skill level you register for, all players are expected to play with a 'fun-first, winning-second' attitude.

Recreational

This division is for teams who are newer to the sport, or teams that consist of a mix of experienced and inexperienced players. Some players may still be learning the rules and etiquette of Bowling, meaning the flow of the game will not always be natural. If both of the main players are experienced and skilled, then the team should move up to a higher level if available.
